| This is metalcore for alternative rockers. Honestly, as I look back at myself and this record, this was what got me hooked on metal. Although their new direction is naive and ill-informed, this album is epic, catchy, and interesting, especially for a major myspace band. If you're coming from deathcore, it simply won't have the same effect. Appreciate it for what it is, rather than hating it for what it isn't. |
