This album seems like Cynic is saying "Okay, this is what we were TRYING to do way back when, now study this album for the next 15 years." The more I listen to Traced In Air I see less and less of the genius of it, but I do see more and more over-produced, middle-aged man writing licks in his basement for an easy-to-predict populous. 4/5 because I can see how an older person might see this album.
