Gavin Castleton Home
I feel ignorant labeling this album of the year in February but it's a gamble I won't lose... its just THAT good; a sure-bet. Nearly the entire album is stand-out but some notable favorites are Coffeelocks, Unparallel Rabbits, and The Human Torch

My only quibble with "Home" is the last track, Credits.. which IS out of place. While it's a haunting reality knowing the entire story was a lie to cope with a failing relationship it's still a slap to the listeners face and leaves nothing open for interpretation. Ever been to an art gallery and enjoyed a piece of work only to have it destroyed by an artist's statement? This last track is exactly that. Though it sounds great, after building up a story so grand and epic we could have done without it.. in my opinion at least. Oh well, at least its called credits.. nobody stays for those anyway.
