So Far So Good... So What was evidence that Dave had hit rock bottom with the drug problem. Still a solid album but much inferior compared to the lengendary Peace Sells... But whose buying?. In this 1990 epic, Dave Mustaine teamed up with guitarist Marty Friedman. The best decision in metal history. The result: RUST IN PEACE is a consistent assault of twin guitar fury in it's fast catchy riffs and epic solos. In terms of rating each track, this album is basically a plateau. Each song just as good as the next (except dawn patrol). That is why this album is a classic. In my opinion, Rust in Peace, even after almost 2 decades, is not out-thrashed.
