I remember I was very lost in wondering exactly how I was going to manager without them because they were the only ones to have ever excepted me after moving into America -- and then i lost them... When my brother played, "Kitchen Table," I nearly burst into tears -- yes it may mean something completely different than the way I interpeted it, but at that moment it was what I needed to hear.. I snatched "Things We Wish For" under my brothers nose and he has never seen that CD since.. But it never leaves my sight.4.5 superbBlue October History for SaleFraming Hanley The MomentI have to say that I am a sucker for great vibes and rhythm with soothing male vocals. Especially if there is a good sappy song in the thick of it all. "Alone in this Bed (Capside)," is amazing and always makes me think of the moments I have without my love while he is away fighting overseas, but it also reminds me of what I do have with him as well and what I charish the most with that man. Has me looking forward to not being alone in this bed anymore upon his return home.Straylight Run Straylight RunA romantic at heart in a strange way -- The first song that my current love interest suggested to me was "Existentialism on Prom Night." Everytime that song plays I have to remind myself not to giggle or blush... But I promise you I will bell out every word of the song.4.0 excellentDeath Cab for Cutie PlansDeath Cab -- Meaningful and beautiful. The voice is soothing and something unusal to hear as well as the lyrics are real, something i can lay back to and close my eyes and drift into the songs..Elbow Asleep In The BackIn a way I hear a bit of Dave Matthews in this bands style and voice, but there is definitely their own style living through their use of intrumental use and unique voice. The lyrics are real and on point and I love it.. Good Work.Evans Blue The Pursuit Begins When This Portrayal of Life EndsI had heard of this band through Pandora after many thumbed down songs and was nearly frustrated enough to almost do the same to this band here... Good thing I didn't. The guitar work and drums are very much what I love to get a good jam too as well as the male vocals are soooo intoxicating, exactly what I love!Matt Costa Songs We SingI honestly never thought I would find myself listening to this style of music having originally begun my musical journey listening to things similar (if not): TooL, SlipKnot, Korn and other mainstream metals. Now in my calmer and mature years I find that Matt's voice is a soothing settle to the ears and one I can really get into.Radiohead OK ComputerI can still remember the first time hearing the unique sounds and vibes -- the way it was the first cd of its kind to ever really make me understand that there are other genres out there besides metal.. Radiohead was the tip to all my interests in other vaues in music... 3.5 greatBreaking Benjamin PhobiaBreaking Benjamin was a very steady style that has been thru and thru reliable to be something fun and tantalizing.. Always will love a good piece of rock now and then and I tend to lean towards this band quite often.. Imogen Heap Speak For YourselfI have to say that when I feel like being a bit more "bubbly" in my sounds and a little more into the nod-nod of the head I turn to the never relentless sounds of iMogen Heap.. Definitely a pleasure to have them added to my iPhone collection!3.0 goodColdplay Viva la Vida or Death and All His FriendsAlways a treat to hear the styles come out one by one with this band -- ever changing and every unpredictable.. never a dull moment with the use of sounds and sweet lullaby style voice... Crash Test Dummies God Shuffled His FeetWow, been such a long time since I have heard this! In fact I only remembered it when I saw a crash outside my door, but it reminded me about "Mmm Mmm Mmm" and how I used to love that song!
