Billing themselves as "Formerly New Zealand's fourth most popular guitar-based digi-bongo accapella-rap-funk comedy folk band. They are taking the world by storm with their mixed genres of music including Bowie a homage to the curious singer and Robots an electro inspired look into the distant future-the year two thousand. In there self titled album Flight of the conchords there are fifteen fantastic tracks including an intro Foux du Fafa and an outro Au revoir, The most beautiful girl (in the room) and Hiphopopotamus vs Rhymenoceros. It’s not suprising that the real humor of the band is in the lyrics. Such as “ You’re most definitely the most beautiful girl I have ever seen, with a kebab” or “ Receiving transmission from David Bowie’s nipple antennae” they are truly original and extremely funny. You may of seen Jermaine Clement in the movie Eagle VS Shark where his dull approach to lifes problems willl make you feel like you are watching Flight of the conchords all over again. When you first hear the weird and wonderful songs you wonder how could they possibly put this into a TV show but the two New Zealand boys manage to pull it off.
