5.0 classic
The Black Dahlia Murder Nocturnal
Best TBDM album ever! And probably in the top five for the best album in 2007. I was really impressed with this band and I wish they would put out another album but they have been touring in support of it for two years now and also they just lost one of their guitarists....damn.
They are amazing live by the way.

4.5 superb
Burning The Masses Mind Control
This is truely an amazing album! My favorite song would have to be Nailgun Massacre. Not only does it sound cool, but the solo's like the review said are very well played and fast. It's something I wish I could do. Not only that, the rhythm guitar sounds extremely well done too. This album really gave me hope in what I think is a overplayed scene which could get boring fast, but I have never heard such perfection and heaviness.
Beautiful album.
Sothis De Oppresso Liber
This is simple: Sothis are extremely good at what they do. Their symphonic sounds bears earmarks to certain cruel icons, like Dorgoth's vocals who have a hint of Dani Filth in them, gothic hottie (yes they have a chick in the band, she plays keyboard) Asperia's keyboards, meshed with the guitar and bass interface of Nylock and Scathe, summon the carnival swirl of Dimmu Borgir. This album will make you bow in respect of what these guys had to do to produce THE Black Metal album of the year and as well be reigned as Black Metal demi-gods. Especially since the keyboards make it more enjoyable and soothing to listen to instead of making your ears bleed from the outside in because you decided to roll through a 1349 album. Aside from gags, these guys deserve respect and their tracklisting is more than impressive.

4.0 excellent
Abigail Williams In the Shadow of a Thousand Suns
Can't go wrong with black metal. Especially the first four, it's mistifying! I wish these guys would come through Utah because that thour is one of the best lineups for a tour I have ever seen!! Damn Utah!
But in all I really enjoy this album and their previous ones.
Born of Osiris The New Reign
I like the technical outline of this band. When I saw them live it locked in my decision that this is one band that is definately good at what they do.

3.5 great
Lamb of God Walk with Me in Hell
I enjoy stuff like this because it's fun to see your favorite bands acting like humans instead of bad asses on stage, it's refreshing to see how everything came to be and what they like to do on their off time. It may be bleh to some but I enjoy stuff like this so I gave it a good rating.
Old Man's Child The Pagan Prosperity

3.0 good
Bring Me the Horizon Suicide Season
I give it a 3 out of 5 because I liked it enough to buy it and listen to it alot, but it's not the same as the albums before. It sounds too studio made and it's not as metal in my eyes as it really could have been. So in the end, I like the other albums more than I like the four songs I like on the new one.
Unearth The March
I only like about three songs on it that's the reason for the rating.
