Silver Jews Lookout Mountain, Lookout Sea
I really think this is the best of the silver jews albums. though it may be a bit lacking in production quaility in contrast to their other albums, it really makes up for it by being extremely off-putting, yet remaining catchy. it took me a couple playthroughs to really appreciate their somewhat dark, yet comical lyrics and odd alternative bluegrass/indie rock sound, but i have to say the silver jews has to be one of my favorite bands of all time mainly because of this album.

Suburban Kids With Biblical Names #3
With a multitude of musical styles and instruments, #3 by Suburban Kids With Biblical Names has something for people with varied musical tastes to enjoy. This album contains some favorites from the band's first 2 EPs, along with quite a few new tracks. A nearly haunting, but very distinct vocal style along with well placed back-up harmonies really sets Suburban Kids With Biblical Names apart from other bands within their realm. All music enthusiasts will appreciate the oddly dark, yet humorous poetic lyrics. A perfect blend of quirky and catchy, this is a must for any fan of indie, and a great gateway for anyone new to the genre due to the band's versatile yet accessible sound.
