Brand New Deja Entendu
This album is very deep and emotional. I like that in my music. [Doesn't everyone?] My only disapointments with this album are that some of the songs sound fairly similar, and one or two are pretty straight up depressing.
Other than that though this album is defanitly worth listening too. Once you do listen though, you'll probably be listening to it over and over again.
My favorite Brand New song happens to be on this album, and thats Okay I Believe You, But My Tommygun Don't. Although at first it may sound boring in the begining. Its mainly focused on the lyrics, but really its just the prelude to the raging guitar and powerful emotional riffs and singing about a minute and a half in.

all the songs are amazing though. You would be a fool to just by a few of the songs.
Waning to everyone. Never ever buy a Bright Eyes album off Itunes or anything digital. BUY IT IN THE STORE. Not only cause the artwork is beautiful, but these CD's are ment to be played as a whole, and out loud.

Crystal Castles Crystal Castles II
Crystal Castles has certainly evolved in the past few years since they have been away. After
their debut album and tour wrapped up and became old news they relatively vanished until
now. Their second self-titled album (weird right?) just sort of appeared out of nowhere
featuring some brand new sounds never heard from the band. This new album has a lot more
straightforward singing rather than the hectic noises of the debut (not counting "Doe Deer",
which is as hectic as a song can possibly be). One of the new songs, "Year of Silence" which
the only lyrics are samples of a Sigur Ros song, although random it works very well. The
album as a whole is much darker than the previous and could almost be summed up as: The Dark
Side of Crystal Castles. Regardless though this slightly altered sound does not completely
fuck up their old sound making for a unique but still familiar listen.

Bowie's best.
Let's Dance is my favorite DB song forever. And this album just adds more to its greatness. Obviously Let's Dance is the best song on the album, but thankfully because its so short, theirs no BAD song on the album.

No Doubt Push and Shove
The album, though released 11 years later, picks up the bands style right where Rocksteady left off, the pop stylings are again taking center stage and the ska influences just showing up here and there throughout. Instantly turning many away from this, I can assure this is no "Hollaback Girl" situation. rThe album is well written, all the songs are well thought out, but maybe perhaps too safe. The most "wild moments" of the album all happen in the first four tracks, making it a very frontloaded album making the backhalf really mesh together. This is unfortunate because the band does sound great for what is presented, all the instrumentation is very well done, and Gwen sounds as good as she did 11 years ago. rChances are if you are even the mildest No Doubt fan you will find something appealing here, though the actually experience of listening to the album from start to finish will not be anything to write home about.

Underoath The Changing of Times
Pros: About half the songs are amazing and downright beautiful.
The keyboard playing adds amazing effects to the songs.
The screaming is bearable for me, a non-screamo fan.
Cons: Some songs are pretty depressing. Too short. The "singing" is more like talking. (except not in When the Sun Sleeps)
Best Songs:
