I've listene to all thier albums now, and i have to say this and "Lies for the Liers" are my favorite. I remember when zippermouth first showed me "The Used". He let me listen to "The Taste of Ink" and i instatly fell for the band. With catchy one liners/(do you want a song of glory, well im f*cking screaming it at you)/, nice choruses /(taste of inks is rather good)/, and rather good drums and guitar, they are almost a perfect band. I have to say my favorite song is "Buried Myself Alive" seeing as how i relate to it the most. All thier songs are pretty dark, i guess is the way to put it, but all can be related to almost. The flow of the guitar riffs and the vocals are pretty impressive, but don't have the same spark that the older albums had. It almost seemed like they tried to hard this time around. Cursing is one thing that brought this album down (Minutes to Midnight was their first explixit album released). Nobody wants to hear someone scream "f*ck" at thier top of their lungs, its kind of childish. Now some songs such as Bleed it out are instant classics, but look at "What I've Done". When it was released it was played more than 200 times a day, kinda making this album seem overplayed. Finally, when you try to become a more emontial band, screaming and yelling doesn't always work, and Minutes to Midnight proves that easily. mewithoutYou Brother, Sister1.5 very poorFrom First to Last From First to Lastt.A.T.u.
