I only really started listening to Seether about 2-3 months ago. Why? Well being a South African I have for years thought SA music sucked and never bothered to spend time listening. Well that changed when I listen to a childhood friend ALL girl punk band known as Running With Scissors. Then I started exploring a bit and was amazed at the quality and excellence of the SA music. So enroute Seether pop into the equation ...and I was blown away. This latest album "Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces" is a great work from them. I think it encapsulates them at the beginning of a the maturing phase. It loved by many, here in SA and offshore and has got great reviews. But then u get a dim-wits like Brian Hiatt and others that keep regurgitates the Amy Lee 'Sober' comment .... grow up is all I can say. The song "No Jesus Christ" has as usual got all the religious freaks up wanting to take arms. What for? Does Seether go knock on their doors and preach evil .. no they do not. Interpretation is in the eye of the beholder ... ROCK on SEETHER .. ROCK on SA music
