If you haven't heard BTM, and you don't like breakdowns, don't listen to them. On the other hand, if you like hardcore/metalcore and you don't like death metal, it's definitely not for you. Even if you fall somewhere in the middle like me, the technicality and speed can be very overwhelming. I didn't know what to think the first time I hear Mechanics of Dysfunction, I didn't like it. I couldn't wrap my head around it. It was seemingly a fast and heavy death metal noisecore. It IS however an acquired taste.
