I quite disliked Filth's high pitched screaming, however, began to realize it was ONE element that makes this band good. This album is an example of what those other elements are. The guitar riffs on this album where quite good, the orchestra and chorus parts were nicely done and at times quite haunting, and the lyrics were lyrics you would expect from this band, simply poetic and well written. Its not a full fledged classic Cradle of Filth album, but it is a good one, and for that, I gave it a 4.03.5 greatMy Chemical Romance The Black ParadeFrom the mellow lyrics of "The End" to the rather uplifting lyrics of "Famous Last Words" My Chemical Romance have certainly proven that they can create an album that has some thoughtfulness put into it. Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge (although fairly good ) had a "generic" pop-punk sound that got boring after awhile. Whereas The Black Parade has some pretty good songs that dont all use the same or similar drum beats and/or guitar riffs. While it certainly cant be labeled as a really great album, I think it has won the title as one of My Chemical Romance's best so far.
