This album has Freddie all over it. The first time I heard it I thought it was Queen playing the music with Bad Company, (Paul) singing the lyrics but then after giving it a chance, (a couple of listenings) you will see the way a Queen album seeps into your psyche. I can hear everything from "Ogre Battle" guitar on ?Still Burning? to "Keep on passing the open windows" in ?Some things that glitter can be gold? and I totally disagree with the critic who says the two forces work against each other. The best song on the album is probably ?Small? which makes me think of the entire ?Day at the Races? album. It flows in an out and is a real ?Queen? song. It is funny that the second worst song on the album is what the critic says it the best. Wow, if he were a true Queen fan he would have seen C-Lebrity rates right up there with Bicycle Race which I think stunk to high heaven.
