Regardless, this is a classic album which regularly frequents greatest album lists. The Beach Boys unfortunately get the shaft, as they are only regarded as surf rockers. Fact: no one in rock history could produce harmonies as beautiful as the Beach Boys, and this album proves it. The Beatles Abbey RoadBest Track: It's a very even album Worst Track:If i was to pick out a minor fault, it'd have to be Sun King This is the best Beatles album in my opinion and quite possibly the greatest rock album ever made. The highlight would probably have to be the medley on the second side. It flows perfectly into one of the most beautiful sections of music to be produced in rock history. The rest of the album holds up as well. Harrison contributes two of his best songs with the Beatles, Something and Here Comes the Sun. Come Together is hit or miss with me. Octopuses' Garden and Maxwell's Silver Hammer are both fun little ditties. Oh Darling and I Want You are both extremely expressive and show that the Beatles could rock with anyone. To sum it up, as a whole, Abbey Road blows all their other albums out of the water (and that's saying A LOT). If there are people out there that don't enjoy this album, then there is NO hope for humanity. 4.5 superbAC/DC Back In BlackBest Track: Hells Bells Worst Track: Shake A Leg Pure Cock-Rock: Sex, Drugs, and Money. In short time, rock would be taken over by cheesy synthesizer bands and hair metal bands. In 1980 however, these lads showed the world that rock was still alive. "Rock N' Roll ain't noise pollution, Rock N' Roll will never die!" The Zombies Odessey and OracleBest Track: Time of the Season Worst Track: Butcher's Tale (not because it's a terrible song...I just don't think it flows well with the album) Great pop songs and vocals.4.0 excellentJeff Buckley Grace (Legacy Edition)Best Track: Hallelujah Worst Track: Corpus Christi Carol Excellent album. My only complaint is that, in my opinion, the album starts to lag towards the latter half. The Beatles A Hard Day's NightBest Track: I Should Have Known Better Worst Track: When I Get Home The thing that separates this album from the previous two is the amount of original material. The Beatles were really coming into their own. The United States of America The United States of AmericaBest Track: I Won't Leave My Wooden Wife For You, Sugar Worst Track: Where Is Yesterday Just one of those obscure albums you should hear before you die.3.5 greatAC/DC Highway To HellBest Track: Highway to Hell Worst Track: Love Hungry Man A few decent songs, but not on par with Back In Black in my opinion. I would give this album a 4 on a good day.Takako Mamiya Love TripThe Alan Parsons Project Eye in the SkyBest Track: Eye In The Sky Worst Track: Psychobabble The stalker's theme song hahaha. The Beatles With the BeatlesBest Track: You Really Got A Hold On Me Worst Track: I Wanna Be Your Man Pretty much on par with Please Please Me. Highlights include All My Loving, Till There Was You, You Really Got A Hold On Me, and Devil In Her Heart. 3.0 goodAl Di Meola Splendido HotelBest Track: Spanish Eyes Worst Track: Isfahan Good music to do homework or read to. Has a few good tunes which showcase his great guitar work. The Beatles Please Please MeBest Track: I Saw Her Standing There or Twist and Shout Worst Track: Boys I very light and enjoyable album. Highlights include I Saw Her Standing There, Misery, Please Please Me, and Twist and Shout. It's hard to imagine that THESE lads would morph into the greatest rock artists of all time. 2.0 poorPaul Simon GracelandOverrated and boring. Paul Simon incorporates Latin and African influences to create an album that doesn't stand out at all. World music is inherently inferior.
