Andrew has simply filled the void left by Scott, but i think it's a downgrade, you can hear the difference in styles between Wake the Dead and Broadcasting. Wake the Dead has some amazing hardcore songs like the title track, False Idols Fall, Partners in Crime and Our Distance. CBK blends the intensity of hardcore with gang vocals flawlessly, leaving the listener with track after track of passionate anthems that have meaning. I feel like when i sing along with CBK that i truley mean some of the phrases i'm singing, i feel unity with the band, and at shows i feel unity with other fans. When these guys came out their stuff just kept getting better with Ballads from the Revolution, catchy fast-paced punk rock, with a serious message. Unfortunately Operation Phoenix was the last record they made that had a real edge. Records after this release were boring with a lot of filler songs whereas Operation Phoenix is an awesome listen all the way through.H2O H2OH2O Thicker Than WaterKilling The Dream FracturesMEANS Sending you StrengthMxPx Life in GeneralNo Trigger CanyoneerNo Use for a Name More Betterness! No Use for a Name Making FriendsRise Against Siren Song of the Counter CultureScorpions Humanity: Hour IStreet Dogs Back To The WorldThe Bouncing Souls The Bouncing SoulsThe Bouncing Souls Maniacal LaughterThe Bouncing Souls The Gold Record3.5 greatAFI Black Sails in the SunsetAFI Shut Your Mouth and Open Your EyesAFI DecemberundergroundAnberlin Never Take Friendship PersonalBigwig Stay AsleepChasing Victory I Call This AbandonmentComeback Kid BroadcastingCommon BeCommon Finding ForeverCrime In Stereo The Troubled StatesideDamien Rice ODestroy the Runner I, LuciferGood Riddance Ballads From the RevolutionGood Riddance Remain in Memory: The Final ShowHaste the Day DreamerI feel like the music on this album is much heavier than their previous release, Pressure the Hinges, and is more in tune with their original style. The chorus hooks just aren't as accesible and catchy as Hinges, which is unfortunate. I feel like i'm looking for tracks to like on this release, its much harder and sinister sounding, but its just not catchy, i can't find tracks to sing along with like i could on Hinges.Have Heart Songs To Scream At The SunJurassic 5 Power in NumbersLife in Your Way Waking GiantsLifetime LifetimeMillencolin Home From HomeMillencolin For MonkeysNew Found Glory Sticks and StonesNew Found Glory Coming HomeNo Use for a Name ¡Leche con Carne! Our Last Night The Ghosts Among UsPennywise About TimePennywise Full CirclePennywise Reason to BelieveRage Against the Machine Rage Against the MachineSick of It All Death to TyrantsSick of It All Built to LastSick of It All Call to ArmsSinking Ships DisconnectingStory of the Year In The Wake Of DeterminationStreet Dogs Fading American DreamThe Almost Southern WeatherThe Audition Controversy Loves CompanyThe Bouncing Souls Anchors AweighThe Bouncing Souls Hopeless RomanticThe Suicide Machines Destruction By DefinitionThis Is Hell SundowningThis Is Hell MisfortunesThrice The Artist in the AmbulanceWith Honor With HonorWith Honor This Is Our RevengeWith Honor Heart Means Everything3.0 goodA Day To Remember For Those Who Have HeartA Skylit Drive Wires...and the Concept of BreathingAFI The Art of DrowningAFI Sing the SorrowAFI A Fire InsideAnberlin Blueprints for the Black MarketAnberlin Lost SongsBayside The Walking WoundedBigwig An Invitation to TragedyBroadway Calls Broadway CallsCrime In Stereo Explosions and the Will to Use ThemDamien Rice 9Destroy the Runner SaintsDown To Nothing The MostDropkick Murphys The Warrior's CodeDropkick Murphys BlackoutDropkick Murphys The Gang's All HereDropkick Murphys The Meanest of TimesEmery The QuestionFall Out Boy From Under the Cork TreeFall Out Boy Infinity on HighGallows (UK) Orchestra Of WolvesGood Riddance Bound by Ties of Blood and AffectionH2O F.T.T.W.Haste the Day Burning BridgesHaste the Day When Everything FallsHawthorne Heights Fragile FutureHere I Come Falling Oh Grave, Where Is Thy VictoryHieroglyphics Full CircleHieroglyphics 3rd Eye VisionJurassic 5 Quality ControlJurassic 5 FeedbackLife in Your Way Ignite and RebuildMae The EverglowMae Destination: BeautifulMillencolin Life On A PlateMillencolin KingwoodMillencolin Machine 15MxPx On the CoverMxPx Secret WeaponNew Found Glory CatalystNew Found Glory Nothing Gold Can StayNew Found Glory New Found GloryNo Use for a Name Keep Them ConfusedRage Against the Machine Evil EmpireRage Against the Machine The Battle of Los AngelesRage Against the Machine Rage Against the Machine (DVD)Ruiner Prepare To Be Let DownShipwreck A.D. Chasing Safety was full of catchy melodic, passionate songs, ones that you could sing along with. Define the Line had a few good tracks, but was mostly full of experimentation and noise. Now Seperation is in the same vein as Define the Line, way too busy, bland vocals, you're left looking for tracks to cling to. Underoaths should realize that sometimes "less is more" or "keep it simple, stupid". these tracks are basically showing off different ideas and not focusing on writing good solid songs. unfortunately underoath followers are like AFI followers, they will not be swayed by anything and out supporting this album like its gold or something. After i listened to it though it was overdone, way too polished for punk rock, especially coming out of Boston. The gang vocals sound like the producer just hit the "chorus" button, they're way too precise and clean sounding. These guys are really good live, and they waiting quite awhile to finally record a full-length and unfortunately this won't help their case.Good Riddance My RepublicGood Riddance Symptoms of a Leveling SpiritH2O Nothing To Provethis album contradicts itself around every corner. It feels like H2O is trying to convince everyone that they are hardcore, that they don't judge people, that they're always judged wrong, that they don't like anyone because nobody is true/honest, and that they were here before everyone else. Really no notable songs unfortunately, i really expected more.Life in Your Way The Sun Rises and the Sun Sets...Mae SingularityMEANS To Keep Me From SinkingMxPx PanicMxPx Slowly Going the Way of the BuffaloNo Use for a Name Hard Rock BottomOnly Crime To The Ninesthis ablum is so boring, nothing is really that catchy. a true disappointment from RussPennywise The FusePennywise PennywisePennywise Straight AheadRise Against The Sufferer and the WitnessRise Against Appeal to ReasonIt's like they lost the anger and passion that they had on Siren Song...I went back and listened to older Rise Against to make sure i was right, and the older stuff makes this album almost boring.
