Senses Fail Still Searching (Deluxe Edition)
The Almost Southern Weather
underoaths drummer Aaron Gillespie has come out with a side project that he has named the almost now even though Gillespie did make the entire album himself and there are minor flaws this is none the less a great album and the fact that he put so much effort into it makes up for the flaws. okay the first song off the album and first single "say this sooner" is a truly inspiring song making it the perfect song to "rock out" too then there is the second song "drive there now" this may seem like a love song at a first glance of the lyrics but the more you listen to the song the more you understand it's much more than that now then there is the acoustic "dirty and left out" now this is clearly a heart touching song about Gillespie and how he used to be one of everyday people but now has seen the light and come to god and has built a relationship with him then there is the album titled track "southern weather" now this is clearly just a "traditional rock tune and that is what I've set out to do" admits Gillespie then there are more infamous tracks like "everyone here smells like a rat" and "stop it!" which are good songs and then there is the 7th track which is a cover of amazing grace but with a twist near the closing of the song Gillespie and the full band bust out and with a quire sing the chorus twice and then put the song to an amazing close. i reccomend this album if you are a fan of bands such as seether, hinder, three days grace etc.etc than you will like the almost

PS. bands listed are not fully like the almost.

4.0 excellent
Amber Pacific Truth In Sincerity
Pop punk band amber pacific busts out with there newest installment of there album collection truth in sincerity. this is one of my favorite Cd's in 2007 July and November and in 2008 January. first off is the instrumental song " rule #76" and its beautiful then the punk gets stirred up in the next two tracks "summer in b" and "temporary" then it gets mellowed down with songs "like take me from this place" and "watching over me" then there other songs like "follow your dreams, forget the scene" and "your only young once" this is a great album with not really that many flaws and i love this album especially the part near the ending of "follow your dreams, forget the scene" when it just goes instrumental for about 15 seconds this is a great album i recommend it if your a fan of this band and other punk bands.
Thirty Seconds to Mars A Beautiful Lie
Underoath Define The Great Line
this is truly one of the greatest bands in the world I've seen a lot of great screamo bands in my day but this band just stands out and shines up among the others this band has been my favorite band since i first listened to them and i was nine years old when i first listened to them and now I'm thirteen anyway first on the album is one of the first songs i heard off the new album "in regards to myself" now them being a so-called christian band which there is hints of Christianity in there but back to the song this is a good song and it made an impact on my life as well as the band did then there is the infamous "you're ever so inviting" with the bands hardcore/metalish side coming out in this song as well as others such as "returning empty handed" and "everyone looks so good from here" these are good songs and then theres when they release there more creative acoustic side with songs such as "casting such a thin shadow" and "to whom it may concern" is where it gets emotional and relaxes you now even though i am a big fan of frontman spencer chamberlain's screaming i will say he does ruin the songs creative flow when he bursts in screaming taking it back into the metal direction but none the less this is a good album i fully reccomend it and there new and older stuff

3.5 great
Chiodos Bone Palace Ballet
chiodos. lots of genres mixed with that band some people hate them some people love them i love them well this album is one of the first albums I've listened to from them but now I'm more experienced in them so I'll write a review about it okay first off on the list is sort of the album titled track "is it progression if a cannibal uses a fork" now the first thing you may or may not notice is how dark the title of the song and lyrics of the song are now this might sound really stupid and i know I'm gonna probably get insulted about it but really this song has no meaning it just has a goth/catchy tune with basically meaningless words except for the chorus "out of tune this tale of terror the solemn tolling of the funeral bells i wanna know whats going on in that pretty little head of yours where every day is a bone palace ballet" now that really doesn't even elude to anything and i'm probably 100% off base here but it kind of sounds like maybe a girlfriend? anyway next off the list is the infamous "Lexington(joey pea-pot with a monkey face)" okay this is a love story now but what some of the lyrics elude to you may ask? well it's about his girlfriend dumping him and now he won't leave her alone so it seems? is there a plot to the story? i don't know but what i do know is that this is a good song that clearly a bunch of people like it(me being one) next off the list is "bull's make money etc.etc." okay catchy tune now this song stands out above others its a love song a lovely one at best but with a twist to the lyrics such as "take back what's just leave me in it and everything that i believe in she's shaking she's shaking please act surprised" please act suprised for what? i don't know but none the less this is a good song that should get it's moment of fame. okay then there are the songs like "a letter from janelle" and "intensity in ten cities" these are emotional and lyrical songs and a favorite of mine as well as many other people then there are more hardcore songs like "teeth the size of piano keys" and "if i cut my hair hawaii will sink" these are a favorite of mine also as well as other hardcore/post-hardcore fans of chiodos while most people enjoy there older albums such as "alls well that ends well" this is a good album none the less and i reccomend getting it if your a chiodos newbie or veteran.

Fred Mascherino – guitar, vocals
Eddie Reyes – guitar
Mark O’Connell – drums

SONG REVIEWS.
Track 1,what's it feel like to be a ghost?.

this song is a favorite of mine with catchy guitar riffs meaningful lyrics lead singer Adam Lazzara show's off his singing talent with his loving voice as he sings a beautiful song that to me resembles friendship or maybe loss of loved one i love this song especially the meaningful chorus.

Track 2.Liar (it takes one to know one)

once again front man Adam Lazzara shows off his musical talent of this favorite song of 2007 Oct which to me seems like a metaphor of backstabbing from a friend i love this song and it is one that i can relate to multiple times.

Track 3. make damn sure.

this song is one of my favorite's of 2007 July and Nov. this song to me is a love song and getting to know someone before you spill your guts out then them using that to hurt you later in life this is something that i have experienced as well. this song has meaningful lyrics and awesome guitar riffs.

Track 4.up against(blackout)

this song has become a favorite of mine as of late 2007 Oct and Dec. this song is a good song and i can relate to this song completely at times which i did try to fit in and as they put it "feel the jet lag" of trying to do so i love this song and the lyrics and drums of this song as well as others that will come later in this review.

Track 5.my blue heaven.

this song is my favorite of 2007 June July and Aug i had this song recomendded to me by a friend and i checked it out and immediately brought the Cd afterwards. i love this song the lyrics the drums the whole bit it is an amazing song Lazzara really shines in this song and this song i hope will be remembered by many as i know it will be by me.

Track 6.Twenty-Twenty surgery.

this song is a favorite of mine of 2007 July and Sept with the amazing opening guitar riff and excellent drums then with Lazzaras amazing voice this makes it the perfect song to "mosh" too.

Track 7.spin.

spin is an amazing song but with the opening resembling my chemical romances "house of wolves" which is a hated song of mine as well as other mcr work. anyway but this song surpasses anything that mcr has done in the past and the songs amazing riffs lyrics. i love it.

Track 8.divine intervention.

even though there are more favorite songs of mine from tbs none the less divine intervention is a good song and should get it's moment of fame.

Track 9.Miami.

this song is clearly a love song a hidden one at best and mistaken by many as simple bad grammar but it is more than that this is a favorite of mine as one week of 2007 Oct with it's amazing solo and Lazzara's voice it is just an amazing song.

Track 10.error operator.

error operator is an amazing song with it's punk beginning with amazing drums and lyrics this is a favorite of 2007 Oct Nov and Dec this is an awesome song and i love it as wel as many other tbs fans

track 11.I'll let you live.

i love this song it is amazing with it's determination of getting it's moment of fame it has beyond no doubt succeeded this goal and with the amazing guitar angry lyrics and awesome drums this is beyond a doubt an amazing song.

Track 12.brooklyn.

this song is really an awesome song and i know i've said this about every song but there's something about that just jumps out at me and says i'm perfect now i nam not going to say that this song does not have it's flaws because Lazzara's voice is somehow not as good as in other tracks such as "what's it feel like to be a ghost?" and "makedamnsure" but this song is a good one.

Track 13.sleep.

this song is about front man Lazzara's drug addiction and his fight with the side effects after he quit this is a good song and an emotional song with the acoustic guitar at the beginning then breaking out with the full band i love this song.
The Used In Love and Death
this is my 5th review and i will review in love and death of the used now of there first debut album (maybe memories) this much more of a poppy sounding album but none the less to me still comes out with there old post-hardcore self with tracks like "sound effects and over dramatics" and "I'm a fake" but then there are the more poppy tracks like "all that i've got" and "cut up angels" but are none the less good songs even though not the whole fan base will agree then there are pop mixed with there hardcorish self in songs such as "take it away" and "listening" are mixed with there new poppy direction but also still taking it in the old post-hardcore direction then there are just in the middle tracks such as "i caught fire" and "light with a sharpend edge" and then there is the never ending catchy songs "lunacy fringe" and "under pressure" this is a good album i reccomend it but if you like the used you should probably get lies for the liars
