All the songs are so powerful and full! This is my favorite In Flames album and my second is Reroute to Remain. Just before becoming a sellout mainstream band with Come Clarity (although not a completely bad album) they still have their old roots in most songs. From the brutal and intelligent song "F(R)iend" to the AMAZING "My Sweet Shadow" which is by far the most exciting song I have ever heard. I always find myself blasting my stereo when that song comes on. The only songs I find myself skipping are "Evil in a Closet" and "Borders and Shading" which don't really sound like In Flames songs... Overall a SUPERB! album from one of my all-time favorite bands!4.0 excellentArch Enemy Doomsday MachineAlthough Arch Enemy does get old fast, this album is a great one! Every song is awesome! Fast a brutal and you can't beat those female death vocals. Awesome!!! A must buy album for any death metal fan. These guys are also awesome live!Arsis A Celebration of GuiltIn Mourning Shrouded DivineAlthough some songs leaving me scratching my head and I am not a big fan of the small amount of clean vocals, I find myself listening to this album several times in a row. In Mourning is Progressive Death Metal at its finest, although more progressive than death metal when comparing them to other bands in this genre like Opeth, still very very good. I bought the album after hearing 3 songs. They got me hooked pretty quick =)Opeth WatershedThis album is awesome, I have easily listened to it 10 times in a row and I am still not changing the CD... The first song "Coil" is a good acoustic song but lacks some of the original Opeth feeling. The alternate female vocalist also adds an interesting aspect. As for "Lotus Eater" (my favorite song from Watershed) which has some great use of blast beats starts brutal with acoustic bridges and an awesome keyboard melody/solo about 6 minutes in that always has be turning up my stereo some extra notches. Some parts in "Lotus Eater" seem odd, but then again, this is Opeth. Overall a great album from a great band! The Black Dahlia Murder NocturnalIf you want fast death metal this album is badass! You can't get much faster than this unless you like grindcore... Although when you first listen to this album you think, "Wow, all these songs blend, which one is which?" After a couple listens it grows on you and is easily one of my favorite albums. The vocals are amazing from the high pitched screams to the brutal growls, they all go together very well. Great album by a great band!
