This is one of the former Pixies frontman´s best albums, together with his untitled debut. With twenty-two good rockin´ songs it is very well stocked. The lyrics and the music fit very well together. I especially like the short and loud opener ´Whatever Happened to Pong?´, ´Freedom Rock´, ´Ole Mulholland´, ´White Noise Maker´ and ´Pie in the Sky´. A couple of songs are under par, but there´s still a lot to enjoy: 4.5 out of 5.
