| It's funny how a factor that cannot be actually heard on an album as you listen to it can affect your opinion on that same album. I bought Total Brutal after I came across it at a listening post in a music store: I thought it sounded cool and was rather violent, the exact kind of music that meets my demands when it comes to doing sports, but nothing too great. Little did I know that it was only one person who wrote the entire album as well as played every instrument. Adding to this, the fact that Total Brutal was written within one hour, and suddenly I really started enjoying it! It's definitely not the album of the year, but it's worth a listening if you're into that kind of music. |
