"Vermillion Parts 1 and 2" have a great, eery mood to them. They talk about love and loss without being cliche, and with a whole different mood about it. Songs like "Opium of the People" and "Pulse of the Maggots" are reminiscent of old Slipknot, but with some new twists. "Before I Forget" is more straight forward than a lot of their previous work, as is "Duality". All in all, I think the only truly bad song on the album is "Virus of Life". Probably a good introduction CD for people looking to get into Slipknot, but just know that Iowa and Slipknot are much, MUCH heavier than this, and sounds like a totally different band.3.0 goodOsker Idle Will Kill2.5 averagePanic! at the Disco A Fever You Can't Sweat OutIt's an OK CD, I think. There are some undeniably catchy songs, but overall, it's not awesome or anything.
