5.0 classic
Circle Takes the Square As the Roots Undo
It's amazing how I look back on this album. At first I couldn't get how all people could
love this so much. This album needed it's time to grow on me and it finnaly has, I reward
this masterpiece with 5/5 because of it's perfection of defining emotions in music and
that way it make me feel when I listen to it.
Converge Jane Doe
This album means alot for me. It's brutal and aggresive and also melodic and emotional. A
perfect mix which makes this perfection.
Disillusion Back to Times of Splendor
Still Remains Of Love and Lunacy
This album is hard to explain. But everything it does, it does right.
Catchy melodies, Fine lyrics, Great Instrumental and really good vocals. Mabey it's not worth a 5/5 in terms of metalcore, but this album really opened my ears for this genre, and will still remain :-) as a classic for me.

4.5 superb
Anberlin Cities
This album is phenomenal, every song got it's unique touch, which makes it really tough just recommending one song. Be sure to give this a listen.
Anberlin New Surrender
As I Lay Dying An Ocean Between Us
So what is it with these guys that make this album so impressive? Is it the strong brutal vocals mixed with the clean and well singed choruses, together with this well written lyrics and fine instrumental work? I guess it is. One of my fav metalcore albums.
Coheed and Cambria In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3
Misery Signals Controller
This album is quality metalcore. You'll notice it just not only in the vocals and instrumental work,
but also in the lyrics. For me this is nearly a perfection of brutal and melodic.
It's clearly my favourite Misery Signals album and also one of my favourite albums this year so far.
Parkway Drive Killing With A Smile
Really interesting guitar sound with excellent riffs. Vocals is just as intense as it should be. A good variation of songs with well written lyrics makes this one hell of a good metalcore album.
Suicide Silence The Cleansing
The Cleansing takes up various problems in this world. The lyrics are well written with thougts behind it. It's delivered brutal and violent by some insane vocals. Mitch got a tune which i belive is not unique but special, he shows such a clear tune that the songs really gets a meaning. Other then the vocals, the drumming is really good and gives us some high class breakdowns. Still The Cleansing is following the latest trend of deathcore as we know it and it might only appeal to the really fans of this genre.

4.0 excellent
Alexisonfire Watch Out!
Alexisonfire Crisis
I really like this band and i do think this album is slightly better then Watch Out! It's showing its best in song like Rough Hands and Boiled Frogs, but just any song on this album is worth a listen.
All That Remains The Fall of Ideals
Such a good metalcore album, It gets abit old after a while. But it got some really kick ass songs on it! If you are a Metalcore fan and haven't heard it, Go check it out. Best songs: Not Alone and This Calling.
Amon Amarth Twilight of the Thunder God
Arch Enemy Doomsday Machine
I believe that this is their best album since Wages of Sin. It's filled with really heavy and technical songs. Only problem is that im not found of Angelas vocals on this, for me they seems abit too "electronic".
But this album should not be missed since it's way more attractive then both Anthems of Rebellion and Rise of the Tyrant.
As I Lay Dying Shadows Are Security
Blessthefall His Last Walk
Cannibal Corpse Kill
I heard these guys a couple of years ago and thought they where crap, but by some reason i saw the video for Make them suffer. And i realized i was way wrong about these guys. Kill is an amazing album.
City and Colour Sometimes
Dallas Green is an amazing vocalist, he also shows that he has the strengths to write good songs aswell. Excellent.
Daft Punk Alive 2007
Gwen Stacy The Life I Know
These guys deliver a solid debut album.
The instrumental/screaming is intense and the clean vocals makes a splendid contrast. Should not be missed by metalcore fans.
Heaven Shall Burn Iconoclast (Part 1: The Final Resistance)
Rise Against The Sufferer and the Witness
Saosin Saosin
Underoath The Changing Of Times
Sometimes changing band members can improve the band. In this case it did not. Dallas can scream, Spencer can not. This album has good use of keyboard and Aaron still does his thing, which is ok i guess. Some songs may be abit repetive but overall this is Underoath at it's best and probely always will be.
Winds of Plague Decimate the Weak

3.5 great
A Day To Remember For Those Who Have Heart
This album got most things right, it's full with catchy melodies and breakdowns. only problem is that it becomes abit repetitive, but except from that its a album worth checking out.
Arcade Fire Neon Bible
As Blood Runs Black Allegiance
As Cities Burn Come Now Sleep
Bring Me The Horizon Suicide Season
Bring Me The Horizon Count Your Blessings
Oh well, A Couple of scenekids mixing metalcore with death.
I was not a big fan of their EP, This album though, has some highlights but it lacks many
parts to make this historical. I would like to hear more riffing cause Oli's voice goes
so well togheter with it. "A lot like vegas" etc.
Breakdowns are nice even tho the drumming is not that nice.
Still i say this is great. But if I want to listen to really good Deathcore, this record
wont be spinning.
Caliban The Awakening
I think this is a good metalcore album. Intense, dont have the same repetive feeling as TUD. It clearly has some of the best Caliban songs on it. But if you want to hear something new from the metalcore genre. You probely won't like this.
Casey Jones The Messenger
Emarosa This Is Your Way Out
I don't think you can compare it to DWP, It's less metalcore and the screaming reminds me more of Underoath. I like Chris vocals on this alot and there is some clever keyboards on it. It's a great EP, though it only lasts for 20 min.
In This Moment Beautiful Tragedy
Whitechapel This Is Exile
I agree it's not perfect, but it's still a great album. I really like the title track and a few others have alot of potential. Definitely worth a listen.

3.0 good
A Static Lullaby A Static Lullaby
Alesana On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax
I find this band very mediocre, mostly because i dislike the singing. Some of the songs are great while other feels very generic. But even the great songs gets very boring after a while.
Alexisonfire Alexisonfire
All That Remains Overcome
Armor For Sleep Dream To Make Believe
As Cities Burn Son, I Loved You at Your Darkest
Blinded Colony Bedtime Prayers
Caliban The Undying Darkness
Daft Punk Homework
Emarosa Relativity
Emmure Goodbye To The Gallows
Eyes Set to Kill Reach
Catchy album, the girl singing duo makes a great job. But the screaming is just terrible. A good album overall.
In Flames A Sense of Purpose
It Dies Today Sirens
Lacuna Coil Comalies
The Devil Wears Prada Plagues

2.5 average
Bullet For My Valentine The Poison
I find this album way overated, I admit that i liked these guys when this album was released. But when i found out other Metalcore band such as Unearth, Parkway Drive and As i lay Dying, i couldn't match this album up against theres. Still this album has a few good tracks which make this album average.
Cute Is What We Aim For Same Old Blood Rush With A New Touch
LoveHateHero White Lies
Catchy album, nice riffs and good drumming. Im not a fan of the vocals so I don't really think of this as a good album. I would like to see more of them in the future.
Slipknot All Hope Is Gone
The Starting Line Direction

2.0 poor
DragonForce Inhuman Rampage
Sonic Syndicate Love and Other Disasters
Trivium The Crusade

1.5 very poor
Bullet For My Valentine Scream Aim Fire

1.0 awful
