Its only downfall is its lack of tracks; but for the short time it lasts you will be in for a ride. James LaBrie is the star of the show here; i have never heard him sing so well. Highlights include "Another Hand - The Killing Hand", "A Fortune in Lies" and "Metropolis"Tool Ænima4.5 superbA Perfect Circle Thirteenth StepDream Theater Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a MemoryDream Theater Black Clouds and Silver LiningsIron Maiden Piece Of MindOpeth MorningriseAtypical Opeth, often wondering into Black Metal. This album is depressing, hanuting and yet beautiful at the same time. The music switches between death metal and quiet, acoustic passages effortlessly, and Akerfeld'ts vocals and lyrics are absoulouetly oustanding. The guitar riffs are memorable and the bass is well done, but the best track on the album would have to be the soft and melodic "To Bid You Farewell;" The lyrics are of high quality, and the acoustic passages and basslines are cleverly executed and just sound plain awesome. TBUF is a great song to listen to and just let your mind wander.
