I barely enjoyed every single second of it, and I really hope that these guys will continue with the great originality that they showed on this album. Of course, there are no MTV "hit" songs or what so ever, but they really know how to handle their instruments, & make really interesting arrangements for the songs. For fans of All Shall Perish I guess, but mostly for all musicians, because these guys have really lots to offer, so instead of reading this review, get the album & hear for yourself !!!4.5 superbCryptopsy Once Was Not4.0 excellentCryptopsy Whisper SupremacyNecrophagist Onset of PutrefactionObscura RetributionSpawn of Possession The Forbidden1.5 very poorCryptopsy The Unspoken King1.0 awfulOrigin AntithesisFirst of all, my favorite music genre is Death Metal, specially Technical Death Metal. I was never a big fan of Origin`s music, however, when I heard about heir new album, I gave it a listen. Or maybe, I tried to give it a listen...this album so so monotone & boring, and has NOTHING to do with Technical Death Metal (in this case, I mean REAL Technical Death Metal, like - Obscura, Spawn Of Possession, Necrophagist...) This is 100% Brutality, with 1 type of Arpeggio going over & over again, wich after lots of years listening to Death Metal, I found it quite boring. Simple rhythm sections, blast-beats & double bass pedals always over 200 bpm...It is all very well played, but the originality is 0. Only for Extreme Metal fans, who don`t mind hearing 10 songs that sound like 1. + another big minus was the video clip for the song "Finite".
