Garbage Garbage
Garbage Version 2.0
Much more polished and less dark then the debut. This is true sound of garbage, total disregard of any genre. Just what you expect four geeks and a scottish girl to sound. The debut took too much from Curve and My Bloody Valentine, the later tried to sound too much like pop. This is has the perfect balance.
Hopesfall The Satellite Years
I am not a hardcore fan, but I love this stuff. This is what a hardcore album should sound like. Out of control, and loud soft dynamics are great. Songs just flow, verse-chorus structure is not felt, even if it's there. It helps Matt Talbot produced this, he's a master of layering and generally mixing guitars.
Hum You'd Prefer an Astronaut
Manic Street Preachers Journal For Plague Lovers
A pefect rock album, energetic and simple, songs flow into each other without ever feeling the same. It's even better then some of their earliest albums its often compared to.

Therapy? Never Apologise Never Explain
Somone will bite my head off, but this album is better then troublegum. Die Like a Motherfucker being probably their biggest hit, and the best representation of what therapy is. Polar bear a simple song, which is amazing live. Long Distance, Perish The Thought are all stand out tracks.
VAST Visual Audio Sensory Theater

3.5 great
Built to Spill There Is No Enemy
Bush Razorblade Suitcase
I always liked this album, love the production, or the lack of it really. Sure some songs sound same, but the dynamics of the songs are just amazing. It's a steve albini album as much as it's a bush album. I in fact listen to this more than I do to sixteen stone.

Telefon Tel Aviv Map of What Is Effortless
Much more R&B-ish than the first album, I am not sure why I gave it a lower rating then the original. This one is just different. It didn't blow me away like the first one, but it's a much more pleasant listen.
The Flashbulb Soundtrack to a Vacant Life
Great album, got it solely based on a user opinion here on sputnik.
Should get a prize for most aptly named album.

The short songs, don't really distract from the album's focus. The varied themes from piano pieces to isis like instrumentals (Kirlian voyager) and squarepusher like beats (that missing week), all fit well. An emotional album really takes you for a ride.

The Gathering Home
The Smashing Pumpkins Gish
Therapy? Troublegum
Don't get me wrong, I love Therapy? and this album got me into them, but it didn't stand the test of time. Some of the later albums are better like Infernal Love and even suicide pact. This album lacked the 'sickness' in the sound. Therapy? has much more balls (and soul) then this albums displays (display being the wrong word to use when talking about music).
Therapy? One Cure Fits All
Therapy? High Anxiety
Therapy? A Brief Crack of Light

3.0 good
Anneke van Giersbergen & Danny Cavanagh In Parallel
It's good. Anneke's voice is amazing. However it's a live album and only fans of Anneke or Danny will really enjoy this album.
Brand New Daisy
Could have been an amazing album, but the songs are just too short. Sink is great, actually all songs are great, but whenever I listen to it i feel like I am listening to a demo, a demo of a really really really really great album.
Danger Mouse The Grey Album
Dark Tranquillity Construct

2.0 poor
Manic Street Preachers Postcards from a Young Man

1.5 very poor
Dntel After Parties 1
Bland and uninteresting at times annoying. The second EP (After Parties 2) is much better.
