This album shouts greatness from beginning to end. Loud, Heavy, and surprisingly, very beautiful. This album is the definitive BHC. Plus, their live shows from this album were amazing. CRegg would dance like crazy and hang from rafters. Overall, this album is next to perfect. Only a one or two tracks could have been a little better. Best songs: Rebirth, I'm a Cloud, As I watch the Sun Fuck the Ocean. Lovecore all the way!

I just recently picked up this record and I have to say it is extremely awesome. Well written and a great first effort from the band as a whole. The best song is San Francisco, with its nicely written guitar line that's poppy, yet unsettling at the same time. Overall the album lacks production, but honestly, that's one of the main reasons this album is so good. Its raw, it?s dirty, it pop. Love it.

I really enjoyed the relaxed feel to the music and the lyrics. Honestly, it lacked in the depth department, but most of the songs and their structures are nicely put together. Overall, really good effort, great listen, but not a classic.

Surprisingly, this album was actually pretty good. The only thing it really lacked was consistency with the new songs. She adventured out into a new genre but fell back into old formulas which didn't fit the album, thus the 3. Overall, Outta My Head and Boys are the stand out tracks. It just stinks they both come so early in the album.

Honestly, this was the first record I have ever heard of these guys, and I only bought the album because of the price, but i have to say, it's not bad at all. The singer (Matt Good, I think) proves he can lead a band but lacks range. The music was fast and hard, but did leave you wanting more. Overall, not bad, though. It was a good listen and I would recommend it as a good "driving a long distance and I need something fast to listen too," record.

Say Anything In Defense of the Genre
Say Anything's latest album, IDotG, lacks real song structure and overall entertainment. The entire album is a mess of forgetable lyrics and hooks. I understand a story is being told during the album, but at the same time, SA could have put these songs, the few better ones, together on one album and gotten the same point across. If not for a few tune really grabbing me, this album would have gotten a 1.5.
