| IOWA is a masterpiece from Slipknot. This album sums up the bands style in general, and all of the tracks featured here deal with lyrics and themes of hatred and anger. It features an even more brutal of a style than the self-titled album. The Guitar work on here is fantastic as well, even though there are no solos Mick and Jim still manage to deliver. It's a lot more straightforward and in-your-face metal than Vol. 3 is. IOWA is everything you could ask for from Slipknot - the crushing Guitars and Instruments, the brutality and expression of the hate, and the great vocals from Corey make this the pinnacle of the bands career. |
