Rick Wakeman The Six Wives of Henry VIII
Rick Wakeman Rick Wakeman at Lincoln Cathedral
This is a recording of Rick Wakeman, without an audience, playing the Lincoln Cathedral Pipe organ. Disc 1 is the normal stereo mix, and Disc 2 uses something called binaural mixing (only for headphones) to create the feeling that you're sitting in the cathedral with Wakeman. With a good pair of headphones, the result is incredible and you can almost feel the wind from the pipes rushing past you. Overall, awesome music. The effect is, at points, beyond description.
