This album is basically, super aggressive. If you want to feel like you just got beaten up by a fat guy with a hammer then listen to it =] ok all imagery aside it is a good release from a talented band in a GENERALLY bland genre. Some people dont like the vocals while i think they are perfectly suited for dual screaming. I read a review of this and someone called the combination of vocals "venomous"... that is the perfect term! The riffs are explosive. The drums do well to keep the songs beat but other then that they are a little lackluster. If you like any deathcore, i recomend this album.
Devourment Molesting the Decapitated
Devourment is one of the pioneers of "slamming death metal" now im not saying they were necessarily the first, just maybe the first to do it with such style and musicianship. Devourment definately isnt for everyone, well, its not for you if you hate death metal or if "insane gutturals followed with powerful slamming guitar and some masterful drumming" just isnt your thing.

Misericordiam Unanimity and the Cessation of Hostility
This album is the perfect death/hardcore hybrid. I think they are especially intense. Most bands that utilize breakdowns are simply cutting corners but i think Misericordiam makes them fit in perfectly with the music. The only bad thing is the vocals. I appreciate all vocal styles but i think a person should be able to do them well. This bands vocalist does some styles well but his inhales and pig squeels feel weak. Luckily, they instrumental makes up for it.

Emmure Goodbye To The Gallows
I definatley dont think its the most brutal album of anything ha. But i did enjoy it and some songs are quite catchy. The downtuning may make them hit harder, but other then breakdowns, it pretty much makes everything sound like shit. And to say they are "deathcore" may be a bit of a stretch but i cant classify them as anything else, sadly :O

a terrible band. A mockery of anything -core. Its shit like this that give deathcore bands a bad name. It basically makes me not want to ever listne to another cybergrind song again. I am biased. Blunt
