Jason Mraz Live in Java Joe's
This is the one album that any Jason Mraz fan must have in their collection. If you have listened to his studio albums, Mr. A-Z and Waiting for my Rocket to Come, and you thought 'Well, that was interesting... not bad.' Well, this one would blow you away because this is Jason Mraz in his element. Live at Java Joe's actually does his music justice; it displays his vocal talent and, at the same time, manages to capture the energy that songs in his studio albums seem to lack. A really fun, catchy and addicting acoustic album that I would recommend anyone to download.
Kings of Convenience Riot on an Empty Street
Quiet, understated and melancholic. Kind of like subtle acoustic music infused with a little bit of jazz and electronica. Throw in a few upbeat tracks like I'd Rather Dance With You into the mix, you'd probably have Riot on an Empty Street. The lyrics are often quiet and pensive in this album. Tracks like The Build-Up, Misread, Cayman Islands and Live Long will leave with breathless and awestruck. This album is great for listening to on lazy days! And it only gets better with each listen!
Patrick Wolf Wind in the Wires
Sondre Lerche Duper Sessions
This is the one album that I could rave on and on for days. It is brilliant and probably Sondre's best album to date. I might have been a bit skeptical at first when I heard that Sondre decided to take his music in another direction because more often than not, when artistes do so, their music tends to disappoint. But Sondre managed to pull it off smoothly and made me fall in love with the modern, jazzybluesy-pop tunes that this album has to offer. His covers of popular Jazz tunes like 'Human Hands' and 'Night and Day' hit home with the listeners. But his own originals like 'Minor Detail', 'Dead End Mystery', 'You Sure Look Swell' and 'Everyone's Rooting For You' are not to be overlooked. It can be upbeat and fun one moment and beautifully haunting the next

4.5 superb
Kings of Convenience Quiet is the New Loud
This album is actually the quieter, mellower version of Riot of an Empty Street. Less electronic and lacks the jazzy swing that seems to perpetuate a few of the tracks on its second album. It is very, very subtle music. Peaceful, soothing and melancholic. Perfect for listening to on lazy, rainy days.
