4.0 excellent
Arcade Fire Neon Bible

3.5 great
Ludo You're Awful, I Love You
A solid release with really catchy songs. My only problem is that sometimes the songs sound a little immature, I
can't figure out just yet if that is intentional. Definitely worth a listen though, as it is a very fun Cd and with summer
just around the corner it was released at a moment where songs like these can thrive. Recommended songs: Love Me
Dead and Go-Getter Greg.

3.0 good
Nada Surf Lucky
I'll Start off by saying I am a HUGE Nada Surf fan and directly following I will state my opinion about Lucky, their 5th full length studio album. While not their best, a solid effort at that. The songs are probably just as well written and production is again top notch with great vocals, lyrics and guitar lines but there is just one problem with the release. It doesn't have that upbeat, fun energy that we all heard with ease on, in my opinion, all their previous releases. Lucky comes off as heavy and drowsy and never gains enough momentum to pull itself out of the hole it dug for itself. Of course there are standout tracks such as, See These Bones, Weightless and I Like What You Say and I have to admit the songs have grown on me substantially, it just doesn't have enough redeeming qualities to step out in the forefront of the wonderful Nada Surf discography. In finishing this short piece, I will say that if you are a diehard Nada Surf fan such as myself, you will find plenty to like in the release but if you are new to the band definitely listen to Let Go or The Weight Is A Gift, as those albums are utter masterpieces in the world of Nada Surf and my world too.
