Lyrically RED is lacking as it's quite generic which has been done many times before (e.g., Linkin Park, Three Days Grace). They have all these "pain inside" type of expressions without some type of detail of what this pain is specifically about. I suppose this lends hand to their accessibility and application to various people but it can't be considered new. Furthermore, they end up too repetitious at times both musically and lyrically.
Overall, however, I would say that their execution of the vocals and music is very well done. Certainly a lot better than most bands out there in my opinion...
