This is a band from shore points NJ that in my opnion has come up with a new gener of brutal metal. To start off with on this demo CHASED THROUGH THE WOODS BY A RAPEST starts off with a promo and then goes into a sick break down with Don's sick display of gutter roles. Then it breaks off into a blast beat from hell by the drummer and not so complicated but catchey fast riffs by the guitarist. I have never herd vocals sound like what don displays. His style of vocals in my opnion are why WTC sticks out from your usual death meatal band. I think what makes this song instering is the lyrics; i dont know why these guys would write something so rediculius but they pulled it off in this song. " I like to chew on gum i like to color paint Id like to feel your arm." In the other song on this demo BLOOD SPLATTER SASTISFACTION is the best song out of the two on this demo. This song starts off with another blast beat from the drummer and the usual speed picking. But then comes Don with his display of pig squeals! The best part about this song is the break down in the middle of the song With the lyrics " blood splatter sastisfaction i dealt you away". Although i do like this band they do have their weak points guirat riffs sounding the same, and Don using the same type of pig squeals through out the whole song it gets kind of annoying. But all in all this band i give a 4 because i do belive that this new sound will pick up their own kind of scene of hardcore death grinding rapest. If you like JOB FOR A COWBOY, WHITE CHAPPEL, SUESIDE SCILENCE then i strongly reccomend this band to you.3.5 greatAll That Remains The Fall of Ideals On this cd it starts off withTHIS CALLING a the breath of Phill and then the bang of the rest of the band. This is one of the songs that stick out on this album with the new drummer really showing off his talent. The guitars are awesome from melodic melodys to hardcore breakdowns; ATR guitarist really improved by putting more solos and making them longer. Pill puts out alot through out this song he clean sings with the usual scream. In the middle of the song is where the magic comes with the amazing solo. I think that this is really good song to open the album with a very clean sounding song. ATR has added a new addition to the band the drummer and with that being said he is just amazing. He is really quick on the double bass and his blast beats arnt to bad either; he is a very good addition to ATR. As for the bass if its there. Their are very few songs that you can actually hear the bass in if you listen really heard is THE AIR THAT I BREATH. ITs not a bad song with Phils usual scream but the solos are very good. The guitarest Mike Martin and Oil Herbert are just awsome, They dont really do the twin guitar parts but they do some chugging and the solos like i have been saying are jus WOW! In this album Phil gives his usual scream with the occisional clean singing. He does show off his death grows in songs THE WEAK WILLED and BECOME THE CATALYST. He has improved so musch sence THIS DARKEND HEART. The strongest song on this album is THE WEAK WILLED showing off all of the bands potential. Stating off with Phil's low death growl and then going into some slow break downs from the guitarest. Phill really shows off his abilities in this song from hig piched screams to the low death growls. This is deffinatly the song to check out! All in all ATR has come a really long way through the years and finally the band has made an album that show it.
