Legendry producer and musician Brian Eno also deserves equal credit here as his haunting soundscapes are grounded firmly into the music instead of just the production values (and producer Danny Lanois does a fine job here to). The Pearl is also an avant garde release. When Budd's delicate piano notes strike a harmony with Eno's languid atmospheres they paint timeless imagery of places never before discovered.
