No note is wasted or wrongly placed, just one of the best metal albums of all time.
Unlike most metal bands Sepultura succeeds in bringing some warmth in their technical demanding music, as if the music becomes organic, breathing. I discovered this cd in 1994, but still listen to it.
"Territory" is still my all time Sep-tune, and special kudos for "we who are not as others", a song I used to skip, but has grown on me over the years; a very good example of the world-music-metal they were evolving even further in with their next CD.

Completely void of filler tracks (for the first time since probably "Masters of Reality"), this is a very solid BS album.
The riff is central through the album, around which all the songs develop, as on highlights "when death calls" and the title track.
The last 2 songs are 2 of the most tunefull and lyrical poetic songs BS has ever written.
Only drawback for me is that they strive to much to go for the typical Sabbath-sound, leaving hardly any space for experimentations.

AC/DC For Those About To Rock We Salute You
They made some albums that were worse, but more that were better than this one.
The title track is the only classic AC/DC track here, far from being one of my favorite AC/DC-classics, as a result I hardly listen to this CD anymore.
AC/DC is a classic band, simply because its huge influence it had on thousands of rock bands that came after them, and not only rockbands are fans and are inspired by AC/DC. Living Colour and Hooverphonic also made covers of AC/DC, hell, even the hip-hoppers of Starflam are fans !
