| I'll start by mentioning that with time, this could be a 5. This album is devastating to listen to. All of the lyrics deal with Durfey's experience trying to cope with his father's illness and death. It's difficult to listen to at times, even. But the music itself, the vocals, the atmosphere are all perfectly fitting for what the album is about. The Lack Long After sits in PBTT's discography as a sort of masterpiece compiling their style, emotion, and power in their genre. |
