| The White Stripes go a different direction on this album, which is MOSTLY rewarding. It's great to hear a new sound from this band, as always, but "St. Andrew (This Battle Is In The Air)" is barely a song. Meg has proven she can sing, so she shouldn't be taking a step back. "Bone Broke," "Rag & Bone," "Slowly Turning into You," "A Martyr For My Love for You," "Catch Hell Blues," and "Effect & Cause" are top tracks. |
