Between the Buried and Me The Silent Circus
Ridiculously amazing release. Beginner listeners of BTBAM may not get this album at first, it took me a while to take each track in. After listening to this a few times, youre set. Almost everything wen together. I prefer the heavier songs as opposed to the smother more laid back tracks, such as the end part of Mordecai, Reaction and Shevanel Part 2.
This album is FAR beyond the metalcore genre these days. So dare I say 'progressive'? Yeah, these guys are progressing everyone else. So many different influences and techniques, so points to them for actually making this stuff go together.

Regina Spektor Begin To Hope
The entire album felt right. All the songs had their own vibe and feeling; the album flowed nicely. Reginas lyrics were memorable, and created excellent imagery. You can listen to this over and over and always hear something new. Very refreshing; serious and fun. The second disc had five great tracks as well. Worth the buy.
Regina Spektor Soviet Kitsch
Doesnt' hit immediately as being amazing, but after a few listens, you really get into it. If you're a beginner to R.S. and buy this, you may not get it. It might sound like a more random/joking style album. However after awhile you begin to appereciate the humorous sounding parts because they are a lot more serious than first realized.
Carbon Monoxide, Us, and Chemo Limos, and The Ghost.., are the best tracks in my opinon.
Regina's story telling skills are amazing and deep.
The Number Twelve Looks Like You Put On Your Rosy Red Glasses

3.5 great
Bury Your Dead Beauty and the Breakdown
I really like this album. Musically, it's not anything new, but if you're looking to get your mosh on, or just get crunk at all, this is the perfect thing. From first, to last, you can get down off this, everysong makes you wanna dance/mosh, whatever your preference.
However, if you're not into getting your mosh on, and you really want something new and innovative don't buy this.
Overall, the sound is heavy. The production is pretty clean and clear. The breakdowns are good, not too cliche or randomly thrown in. The songs flow well. The only issue is that some tracks bleed into one another. The vocals are alright, typical hardcore style. Don't let the lame concept book throw you off, song topics aren't about fairy tales.
The lyrical content is better than previous BYD albums (i personally don't care for BYD's lyrics).

Heavy Heavy Low Low Everything's Watched, Everyone's Watchin
I felt Everything's Watched, Everyone's Watching was a very poor effort by HHLL. Compared to their live efforts *which are fairly good*, the album felt as if the band were using boring, cliche elements. The vocals are horrible. There was nothing special or new; the entire thing seemed like a joke.
