Grateful Dead American Beauty |
This album is truly great. A home to some of the songs that would later be Dead staples (Truckin', Sugar Magnolia
anyone?). To me there is really no low point to this album, it is incredible the entire way through. Songs like
Candyman, Ripple, and Brokedown Palace evoke images and thoughts of massive amounts of Dead heads and a very
positive energy. The first album I heard by them, and is still my favorite. |

Pink Floyd The Dark Side Of The Moon |
As far as I'm concerned this is the Prog. Rock album. Some of the most entertaining songs are on this album. I consider listening to this intense relaxation, incredibly sedating album, yet so complex and original. A masterpiece, the vocals in my opinion on this album were really good, and the band was still pretty tight at this point. So for me a sure 5/5. |
