5.0 classic
Grateful Dead American Beauty
This album is truly great. A home to some of the songs that would later be Dead staples (Truckin', Sugar Magnolia
anyone?). To me there is really no low point to this album, it is incredible the entire way through. Songs like
Candyman, Ripple, and Brokedown Palace evoke images and thoughts of massive amounts of Dead heads and a very
positive energy. The first album I heard by them, and is still my favorite.
Grateful Dead Fillmore West 1969
Pink Floyd The Dark Side Of The Moon
As far as I'm concerned this is the Prog. Rock album. Some of the most entertaining songs are on this album. I consider listening to this intense relaxation, incredibly sedating album, yet so complex and original. A masterpiece, the vocals in my opinion on this album were really good, and the band was still pretty tight at this point. So for me a sure 5/5.

Umphrey's McGee Local Band Does O.K.
I was giving this album another listen earlier today, and I just realized just how good it is. Some of the catchiest
tunes Umphrey's has ever written are present on this album. 2nd Self being a prime example, along with Andy's Last
Beer, and Hurt Bird Bath. The guitars are absolutely amazing, very intricate, and yet very rhythmic at the same time.
A definite must buy for any Jam Band fan.

Pink Floyd The Wall
The Wall. I never quite understood everybody's obsession with this album. The vocals were nowhere near as good as on Animals or DSOTM I thought, and it seemed to run together an awful lot. Lots of filler tracks, and overall the direction they were going really wasn't my type of thing like there previous albums. Still though, some really good songs, hence the 3/5.
