Love this album. It's the most intelligent metal album out there besides Colors. Strangely I find myself drawn to the melodic passages like the Selkies sweeps , Medicine Wheel, the cleanly sung part of Backwards Marathon, and Laser Speed. But they perform astonishing Death and Grind on the same ticket. :D

This is a fantastic album I must say. They aren't MMetalcore, and they don't sound like In Flames or something like that. They are Emo for the death-metaller and vice versa. They force it a little on the Drop-B, but that's it. They are a great bunch of musicians, but they seem a little shy, because there is no need for a 2 minute track of someone walking through foliage at night. But otherwise, Deatmo perfection.

Maximum the Hormone Bu-ikikaesu
This album wins. They're not just your average obscure J-Rock band. Japanese SOAD, but better and probably a tad crazier.
