I. Love. This. Album. Plain and simple. The odd-guitar riffs and heavy drums make the music on this album absolutely electrifying. I think the new vocalist is an awesome replacement and he really sets the band back where they left off, better actually. Heavy breakdowns, heavy transitions, heavy everything. This is probably my favorite album of 2007.

This album is amazing from start to finish. The first 7 tracks bring you on a fast, intense ride, while the rest of the album sort of slows down but still keeps it's epic presence. You can just tell that the musicianship had grown INCREDIBLY, with many off-beats and quicker tempos. Will be one of my favorites for a long time.
Streetlight Manifesto Somewhere in the Between
Sum 41 Chuck
This is Sum 41's BEST album. This is where they needed to stay musically. They matured enough! I was a little disappointed with Underclass Hero because, while still being a good album, I was expecting something like Chuck again. Chuck was metal, punk, alternative, it was everything on one album. I would DEFINITELY like to see more of Chuck in the future.

If there are any vocalists worth mentioning in the music industry for being so unique and one of a kind, Johnny Craig from DGD is definitely one of them. DBM is an awesome album and it comes out strong in every single album. Wether it be intense vocals or reallllyyyy weird guitar riffs. It all sounds good in the end.

Prada's best work thus far. The guitars, vocals, drums, everything is just perfect. It stays brutal while still bringing in tastes of a more melodic side. A true treat to see live too.

While Tom DeLonge has had better days, his music days aren't entirely over. AVA brings a new side of Tom DeLonge to the table in a much, much different way. At first, i did not like AVA. I got the album and listened more and more. Some songs grew on me. Lyrics wise i think it's very good. The 9-and-a-half minute intros need to go though. They're annoying. And don't do any songs any more justice or anything. I don't think Tom should give up because AVA has a lot more potential. But Tom, Blink is where you need to be. Not blasting your ego somewhere and making a fool of yourself.

This album was actually more of a fresh breath of air than it wasn't...With BMTH actually going through what seems to be a "genre change", they really produced a great album. The new Metalcore sounding (with a hint of Slipknot) BMTH is actually brutal, fast, and still fun. Tracks like "Chelsea Smile", "It Was Written In Blood", and "Sleep With One Eye Open" kept me coming back for listens. And I must say, the last song is pretty goddam epic.

This is one of my favorite metal albums. Every track has something great to deliver. Heavy chugging guitars, deep grouchy vocals, heart-pounding drums. The music is definately not where the album suffers. Sometimes the structure of the songs would seem a bit weird and I thought it could of been done better. The breakdowns are definitely not a disappointment. I have been listening to this album since I have gotten it and I still love it.

This is a great album, but it lacks sometimes. Some songs cut short and there are too much instrumental time in the album. I think if there were more MUSIC then the album would of grabbed a much higher rating from me. I still think it's a great album from a band with much more potential. I look forward to the next release.

I really did like this album. Really, i loved it. It's just (in my opinion) i think where they were at with Chuck is where they should of stayed. Chuck was their best album in my opinion. They finally hit their peak musically and lyrically. Trying to step it up any further just didn't seem it would work. Like i said, this was a good album, i was just expecting more. It had some great choruses and the writing was exceptional. And i do realize they had to cope with the loss of a very important band member, i guess it just comes down to my musical taste.
