4.0 excellent
Sum 41 Underclass Hero
I find it hilarious how after 5 pages of comments, these kids still don't even fucking know if Deryck is on the cover of the god damned album. Everyone slams them for sounding like Blink-182 when they were big, now it's Green Day. Because that's what you do if you have no idea about the band or the album for that matter; you associate with something else that someone else said, thus making it easier for you and making yourself appear more educated then you actually are. The fact is that if anyone here had taken the time to do your research, you would find out that this whole album was written as a journey from the start of this band to the present day. So, it would make sense for the start of the album talk about being an "Underclass Hero" seeing as how that was how one felt when being a teenage rebel. "Walking Disaster" voices the stages of adolescence moving from wanting to abandon your parents at any cost to eventually realizing you've missed out on oh so much. Then this teenager grows up and begins to question the world around him as seen in "March of the dogs" and "The Jester". Thus, leading in to a sense of being confuse on what we should and should and should not believe. Then Deryck finds love and moves into the stage of life where one must grow up and mature as he becomes a husband. This album ends with a ballad aimed at former guitarist, telling him that whatever he does, they understand and it's ok. You can slam an album if you choose, at least i don't mind. I love embarrassing idiots.
