The groups ability to take lyrics that would drive many fun-loving club-heads away and make them into powerful, danceable anthems is without match for me. Their suspected summer full-length "Never Be Perfect," will hopefully see them continue their mastery of electro, but for now this EP should hold us over. Look out for the mixtapes the group tends to drop throughout the year, as they are always phenomenal. Sims picks up the mantle for this record and does an unbelievable job. His lyrics and flow are undeniable, and the production work of Lazerbeak is impeccable. Must have hip-hop record for 2011 without a doubt. 3.5 greatSecret And Whisper Great White WhaleThe Audition ChampionThe Dreaming Etched in BloodStabbing Westward's vocalist, Christopher Hall, is back under the moniker The Dreaming along with some new band mates and doesn't do anything particularly new, so to speak, but for what the album is, it is very well executed. For fans of SW, you can easily hear the influences and it is no doubt a good follow up. The production quality is top notch (and if anything a bit too prevalent(although considerings it's SW reincarnated that makes some sense)) and the vocals sound crisp and clear, and the guitar work, although rarely standout, is always good.
