Highway Patrolman, and it's line of "Man turns his back on his family, well he just ain't no good" have been words that have echo'd through my head throughout most of my adult life. I used to play this song for my kids when they were young, and tell them how important this is. I'd tell them how important it is to be there for each other, and to never forget the bond of blood. My daughter, who has really become the light of my life, never forgot this song. I just gave this album to her for her 17th birthday, and listening to this whole song reafirms what I remembered...A man lets down his family, well he just ain't no good.
