Holy shit what a complete album, not a single track is a skipper.
Perfect combination of paying homage to a number of things across the 80s/90s/00s (without being
cheesy or generic) heavy on the goth and horror while mainlining metal, grunge, and doom/sludge.
They pull all this off while maintaining a fresh sound, nothing feels like it's ripping off
someone else's schtick. And the production is ::chefs kiss:: Everything (especially the drums)
sound huge without being boomy.
This could be 5'd and is an immediate AOTY contender. |

| their best - each song can stand on it's own for this release, something I can't say for any of the other albums. It was really good when it came out, now that I've had some time to let it really spin and sink in it is even more apparent just how good of an album this is. |
