This sounds like a good collection, except for Down. If Down wasn't on this album, I would give this greatest hits album a 5.

Korn Follow the Leader
This album is actually pretty good. It's more focused than L.I.P., yet it's not as fresh as their self-titled. Despite this, the band all sound wonderful together, making FTL an infectious and fun, yet still haunting listen, similar to See You On The Other Side.

This release from A7X wasn't terrible, but polishing and more work could have been put into this. A7X took a large gamble by trying to do a record on their own and going in the experimental direction, following a similar path that Atreyu went in with Lead Sails Paper Anchor. The difference between the A7X S/T and Lead Sails Paper Anchor though, is that A7X have a general direction, or a core in their s/t, while Atreyu's goes nowhere except in multiple directions without a map to help guide them. A damned good attempt at an experiment, turning out to be successful with songs like Critical Acclaim, Almost Easy, Afterlife, Gunslinger, and yes, even Dear God, only to fall flat on their face with A Little Piece of Heaven. Also, polishing on the production could have been done, and this record seems as though A7X is forcing a maturity.
Godsmack Awake
Korn See You on the Other Side
Improvements were made after Untouchables in this album, but it gets quite boring at times, leaving a sense of lifelessness. I would recommend listening only to Coming Undone and Liar for downloads, but if you have the album, definitely skip Getting Off and For No One. Need I say more?

Disturbed The Sickness
There's a reason why this is called The Sickness. Because this album sucks so hard that it'll make you puke your guts out. Everything about this CD yells "Korn self titled album re-release". Every part of early Korn's formula is here: down-tuned guitars, hip-hop drumming, murky bass work, and a vocalist with personal strife. Hell, Disturbed even rips off Korn songs in the process, example being in the drum intro to Down With The Sickness, which ends up sounding similar to that of Korn's Faget. And it only gets worse. Everywhere you look in The Sickness, there is lame wigger rap and annoying programming. This album is so overly genetic and overrated that it took nu-metal to newer lows. Hell, even Korn hasn't gone this far off the deep end of full blown suckery. The only thing really "original" about The Sickness is David Draiman's grunting(What he calls releasing aggression. Something like that.), and his clean, aggressive vocal tone. Avoid this at any and all costs.
