This is a definite improvement from Keiza. While Keiza has that raw sound which many metal heads love, Fortress offers a feel for a more complete album. The riffs are more entertaining, as well as catchy. They have taken a strong step in the right direction, and established themselves as a solid band that won't let you down. The technical guitar work has the power to cause one to bang their head, as well as put a baby to sleep.Wiz Khalifa Kush & Orange Juice4.0 excellentAfter the Burial RareformAt The Throne of Judgment The Arcanum OrderThis ablum is as solid as they come. They are one of the few bands in the genre that stand out. A needle in the haystack. They have great riffs, solos, and breakdowns. They don't over do anything (breakdowns), and found a very nice balance in their music.August Burns Red ConstellationsBeneath the Massacre DystopiaDarkest Hour Deliver UsMuse The ResistanceThe Black Dahlia Murder NocturnalThe Contortionist Exoplanet3.5 greatAfter the Burial In DreamsAll That Remains The Fall of IdealsEverything about this band has improved from the last album. Its more intense, well-written, and catchy as anything. The drumming and vocals are the highlights of the album...and most certianly the two most improved pieces of the puzzle. The guitar work is also a lot more solidAugust Burns Red MessengersAugust Burns Red is one of the few bands that stands out in it's ever so generic genre. They may not have the most technical guitars sought after in the metal scene, but they're guitarist are able to consistently produce catchy-riffs. The drumming is simply amazing, to say the least. The vocals are as powerful as the message they try to deliver. And last but not least...they put on one hell of a show.Beneath the Massacre Evidence Of InequityThis ep is awesome. This has everything i would expect from an ep, and then more... a lot more. The guitars are insane and the drumming is as good as it gets in this genre. Not too mention the raw power of the vocals.Between the Buried and Me ColorsBorn of Osiris The New ReignCatherine Rumor Has ItEnter Shikari Take to the SkiesFellsilent The Hidden WordsIn Flames Reroute to RemainMisery Signals Misery SignalsProtest the Hero KeziaThe Human Abstract NocturneUnderoath Define The Great Line3.0 goodHere I Come Falling Oh Grave, Where Is Thy VictoryMy Bitter End The RenovationUnderoath Ø (Disambiguation)Zao The Fear Is What Keeps Us Here2.5 averageKid Cudi Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. RagerLight This City StormchaserAs I listen to this, I can't help but notice the resting potential. However, I believe that man are far superior to women. I would include the kitchen, however their recent move into the business world has lost them their only worthy skill. Thus, leading to the downfall of this album...vocals. They are not great enough to carry the band (which is usually a bad thing anyway), but with the lack of any amazement factor throughout the rest of the band....I am left to blame her. Sorry babe. (I am kidding about all the about references to men>women, not that it is or isnt true.) Guitars have potential, but other than the occasional lead that shreds my mind, I don't see this being a repeat listen.Suicide Silence The CleansingThe Red Shore Unconsecrated2.0 poorEyes Set to Kill ReachKillswitch Engage Alive or Just BreathingThe Devil Wears Prada Plagues1.5 very poorAs Blood Runs Black Allegiance1.0 awfulAvenged Sevenfold Avenged SevenfoldCradle of Filth Darkly, Darkly, Venus AversaWaking The Cadaver Perverse Recollections Of A NecromanglerI feel a 1 is a little to high. You'd have to pay me to listen to this. Absolutly garbage. They sucessfully accomplish the hardcore scene task of trying to be the most brutal band out there...too bad its laughable. I can't listen to this with out shitting myself. Give me a break, how is this even a record....how is this considered music.
