I found it quite difficult to get into BMTH at first, but after a few listens ive now become somewhat addicted to it. The music overall may seem a little bland to some. The drumming although is very impressive. I think theyve got the right idea. They may bore some listeners as they replay each guitar riff so many times, when it wouldnt hurt to change every now and then. Maybe even adding some differentiation for each breakdown. "The sadness will never end" is probably one of the best tracks on the album.

this album kicks ass, the breakdowns are as amazing as ever, from the first second of the sirens song to the last minute of breaking point is a ride through pure metalcore mayhem. the violent and aggressive screaming is even more brutal than in "killing with a smile". the guitar work rips through your heart while the drums are constantly pounding on your chest. winstons voice in boneyards at about 2:55..... the ending solo/instrumental in "idols and anchors" and "five months" at the end = pure parkway drive breakdown. this album is great, usually bands fail to keep fans from their first release, parkway drive just proved this theory totally wrong. "CARRION" will make you shit your pants. the end of "horizons"..... definitely deserves a 5 from me. this album defines metalcore. BUY THIS ALBUM!

I've just recently gotten into Thursday and this album is quite impressive. Full Collapse, however, i felt was a more consistent record. In regards to the post hardcore genre, i'm unable to see how this is. Nonetheless, this is a strong album that shouldn't be missed.
