| The EP opens with the track "Ending is The Beginning" and the screams and deep growls over the heavy guitar and intense drumming equal out to make quite the atrocious metal song, and even the pig comes out and gives us some wicked squeals, which are quite enjoyable and memorable. Breakdowns happen on this song, as well as throughout the album, like these guys found the Book of Breakdowns, crushed it up, and snorted it; so don't be surprised if you are in the car listening to this CD and get the urge to windmill kick your passenger. Songs like "Swarm" and "About A Plane Crash" display the bands ability to speed things up and keep them going at full pace, largely due to the expert drumming that stays sharp and clean throughout the album. In "Distorted Thought of Addiction" we are treated to a hailstorm of growls and intense guitar and drum work, that promptly brings this EP to its conclusion. The album wraps up with a live version of "Destruction of A Statue" which displays the bands ability to play their songs just as sharp and clean as they are on the produced album. The C.D. also contains an enhanced video of "Destruction of A Statue" giving those of you who can't make it to a live a show a taste of what the Silence can do on the set. All in all, this album picks you up at the start and takes you on a enjoyable high paced Death Metal Adventure, with a quick visit to Grindcore City and a prolonged tour of Breakdown Village, with no rest stops along the way. This album is a gem for those who love a fast, brutal, metal explosion in their ears, and it doesn't get much more nuts than this. Check this band out, especially if you get a chance to see them live, and pick up this EP for a great fest of brutality.!! |
