John Frusciante The Will to Death
One of the six albums released by John Frusicante (though one with Ataxia and one collaboration with Josh Klinghoffer is included) in 2004, a very productive man one could say.
Great album, very impressing vocals by John (but I'm a fan, so). Great laid-back guitar play, not a typical "rock" album, more like pop/alt rock/(dare i say indie?)..
Highlights are The Days Have Turned, Loss and The Will to Death.

A two-guitared duo (!) with so much passion in their guitarplay that its almost touchable. Great innovative comp-guitar by Gabriela, great picking and melodies by Rodrigo. Includes many covers by famous rock/metal bands such as Metallica & Led Zeppelin. Recommended to everyone!

The Beatles Abbey Road
The Mars Volta Amputechture
The Mars Volta Octahedron
Cedrics' vocal effort is the big thing about this record, besides it being something new and again fresh from TMV. I really like it, hence the 4.
PS. I am a fanboy.

Mando Diao Bring 'Em In
The best and first of 3 albums released by Mando Diao, raw, (as said) un-polished garage rock at its best. Recommended: Sheepdog, Mr Moon, and my favourite; Motown Blood
Omar Rodriguez-Lopez Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fungus
Omar Rodriguez-Lopez A Manual Dexterity: Soundtrack Vol. 1
Peter Gabriel Car
Red Hot Chili Peppers Stadium Arcadium
Red Hot Chili Peppers I'm With You
Robbie Williams Escapology
A good album by Mr. Williams, catchy pop/rock tunes with some good lyrics. Hits are "Sexed Up", "Come Undone" and "Feel". I'm recommending "Me and Monkey" + "Come Undone".
